and now days some girls are really into gothic and emo things like
...."leave me alone...i cut myself...write a poem...thinking alone in a cupboard..thick eyeliner...I kill you~!"

if it is a style i dont really care but acting like one is not a good idea.

ive talk to some of them "one of the reasons is that they dont like girly2 stuffs" and one of them really said "I am the real gothic girl,not like other girls,I am the original gothic,I have the gothic bible,i have superpower,i can see ghost,etc" hahaha atu labih2an tia.

its ok if girls are into fashion but dont overdo it.

anyway i never seen a girl really into cards ,mun di skulah durang punya BF yg karak card(i mean magic ,cardistry),and i can see in their faces they are not really interested in cards ,pretend to like cards just because bf nya karak cards. (so pity usul dorang...so selfish of their b.f)

They only enjoy playing card games i suppose.

and I never hear any girls talk "eh ko ada ghost,ko ada jerry nuggets,ko ada dan n dave, ko pandai buat this moves?,etc"

That is why I treat magic as an art, not a trend.
pasal magic is so unique that masa dulu I dont recomend people jadi magician in Brunei, Thats why I always said to ppl who are iski kan blajar magic arah ku ;
1)knowing tricks how it is done doesnt make u a magician.Just by having alot of dvds,books and u know theorically how tricks are done doesnt mean u r a magician. Magic is an art, practice it
,like music,for eg.like playing a guitar.Do u call me a guitarist by seeing me simply plucking few of the strings?? who doesnt know how to play guitar properly?

2)magic is an art, not a toy where u can discard it anytime u want (thts why some ppl ah said "eh aku quit magic,etc" and I also dont prefer to say play magic or in malay "main magic".slalu org ckp "masa bila ko MAIN magic ani?" aku main magic jua.CORRECTION peeps~ its not "main", its "perform" or "doing" is a better word to use. in general, an art is the way to express yourself, in a difficult way or different way.

that is why I dont recomend beginers to be in magic u know.I give them choises " simple party tricks,art of magic or leave~!"
Because i have no doubt they just want the coolness only like in every trend yg ada masa ani.I have to explain them magic as an art but some of they dont really bother...

Cardistry has high chances of becoming a trend to ppl here. Imagine, makin ramai jadi flourishers pasal meliat kawan durang flourish jua. But thats not really the problem.i think.

Dulu aku pikir magic n cardistry is the samething;pro magicians use flourish just for a misdirection or a eyecandy in magic (mcm c jeff mc bride said :he combine martial arts and dances with magic,making it unique and special)
then I notice rupanya lain.Its a difrrent form of art but for me it is one of the branches of magic. Just look at TAME ACES by miika pelkonen compare to a simple-pick-a-card trick. Atleast layPpl can clearly differenciate between pro and beginners from those comparison.

there is no in the hadith or in the Quran that stated that playing cards is haram,anything can be haram if it is against the religion. What she meant was gambling.Gambling is haram. pLAYING CHESS CAN also BE HARAM at certain condition.
Magic is not agaisnt Islam unless u use IT ILLEGALLY THEN ITS HARAM.
magic is so wide meaning that ppl think magic refers only to black magic.Thats why it is haram.

that quote sounds familiar..lol...it actually annoys me for certain people to show high enthusiasm at the beginning and after several months or less than that,they lose their interest oredi...and the one who goes emotional is me...hahah,main mijik ani misti ada endurance yo....ada determination. baru digalar magician

oh and i cant stand people saying, "i Quit magic" which means all the time they've been doing it for the sake of attention.thats not what magicians pursue in magic its the passion and the expression of the spectator and the way we express ourselves.

in the other hand,cardistry consumes way lot more determination. A friend of mine has an infection in his hand,yet he never gave up on cardistry, till now....jangantah disabut namanya eh,kambang ya karang...ah kyo ah?

I forgot a name of a magician which amaze me.
born with no hands and no feet~! but still can do magic.I cant remember who tp he was short(pasal nada kaki), and he did the cups and balls so perfectly .kesian usulnya tp kira hebat jua tu walaupun cacat tp handal mijik...atu kuat banar tu enudrance n determintationnya.

haha... base on org punya pengertiannya jua lah. kadang2 ada org yg inda tau apa2 tarus2 ckppp,"eh utk apa tu card ahh!? not good eh!". sometimes ada jau yg ckp... not salah faham, kurang berpengetahuan tentang cards ani.
they always seen ppl in the movies playing cards (org koboi, org mauk2,etc)
atau org2 Brunei main judi kedapatan kna busted ,slalu ada card involve.
