hahaha try to mix cardistry n shuffle is a disastrous.
But you can mix em with magic like there's a group of shufflers dancing at the back while the magicians do the show thingy....but i cant really imagine how to do magic while you're shuffling...HAHAHa its like doing magic while playing a bunny hop stick.

so it think is not a very good idea hehehe.

Okay, seriously, cardistry + shuffle (the dance) = Daniel Madison videos. He's not shuffling, but... yeah.. at least he looks like he's doing a bit of it.

Although i'm not a really an expert of shuffle. But heres what i know;

the X thing you were saying are called suspenders, similar to those people wear back in the 80's or 90's. But they make it in a more agressive look now.

The glow-in-the-dark isn't really glowing in the dark, its what we call reflectors, like safety jackets? It only reflect lights, much like laser sticker thingy.

Shuffle was never meant for people to take it out to the streets( or Mall) and certainly not for stage. Back then it was just an 'underground' dance in Melbourne, Australia. It was meant as a rave dance instead of battle dance like what we have now around the world.

And shuffle like c-walk or breakdance, its just a dance style. Wether you like it or not. It's Melbourne's dancestyle and people are free to learn it, hate it, whatever. LIke what they say; "Shuffle to express, not to impress" (sound familiar?)

*rave- Mostly concerning discos, pubs and clubs. You know the thing.

Shuffling for me is like stomping your feet on a moving ground, basically so that you 'avoid yourself from moving around by stomping. And to give it a twist, you must follow the beat while you stomp..and with the silat hand thingy. hahaha.
