Regarding about the topic..I'm not sure about Dnd stuff yet..but their Trilogy did give me a real taste of satisfaction. 3 dvds, to be honest, I find long hours of magic tutorials on TV are really boring, but not this DVD, trilogy sure kept me awake Cool

Ellusionist came up with some cool stuff this December, don't forget to grab some great stuff there too, guys.

well depends which direction you want to go in...

De'Vo's got his 'Xtreme Beginners' dvd sets if you want to go into that area of card manipulation. and just in case you dont like what you see, 'Xtreme Beginners Volume 2' has Daniel Madison teaching some of his material in there.

Daniel Madison has 'Lethal' (which was an underground release and may be sold out right now) and 'Motion', which was produced by Theory 11. The quality of Motion is really good and has Daniel Madison speaking about each cut, as well as footnotes alongside slow motion footage of all the cuts. 'Motion' has almost all the cuts in 'lethal', as well as a few new cuts.

Dan and Dave has the 'System', which is the first flourishing video i have ever got. I honestly gave up after learning it for a week. not the right video for a total beginner. However, 'Trilogy' has a 'Flourishes 101' section in the 'everythingelse' dvd, which has slow motion footage of all the basic moves you need to learn, e.g. one handed revolutions, fans, deck flip, sybil etc. The 'Flourishes' dvd is a bit tough, but you get notes and stuff during the slow motion footage. With the right amount of practise, you can easily get it down. if you get bored with the flourishes, the 'tricks' dvd has a lot of visual material. some are quite tough, but look awesome when done smoothly.

Now in terms of shipping, Ellusionist sells the download version of 'Xtreme Beginners' Vol. 1 and 2. So if you get the download, you don't have to pay for shipping, they'll give you a code and a link for you to download from. However, the download sometimes wont have all the bonus features that you get in the dvd.

i bought trilogy from the DnD website, and service and everything was good. DnD website even allows you to buy the trilogy dvd's seperately. that way you wont have to pay so much, but i highly recomend getting the whole set Smile

phew...pretty long lah...if you have any questions just PM me or reply to my post Smile hope that helps

Production just started on 'andthensome', so i think it'll be a while.

Myles Nakouzi has a new video on youtube which has a bit of him and Dan/ Dave Buck talking about the production of the dvd. it also gives you a look at the bucks deck collection Smile run a search
