In my opinion anything can be made into gambling stuffs, not just cards
i can gamble using UNO cards, i can gamble negeri siapa yg manang dalam olympic, i can gamble siapa yg dapat mengalahkan undertaker arah wrestling and so on.
nya pepatah "inda pandai menari ,lantai pulang di salahkan"
there you go~ I hope thats enough to convince and enough resourses

Cards
Card games were co-created with playing cards themselves and may have been invented by the Chinese when they began shuffling paper money into various combinations. Though where and when cards originated is uncertain, China does seem the most likely place to have invented cards, and the 7th to the 10th century the earliest probable time playing cards appeared.
• Playing Card History
From the House of Cards comes a select list of articles on card playing.
• History of Playing Cards
Playing cards must have been invented in China, where paper was invented.
• English Playing Cards
The history of English playing cards dates probably from the mid 15th century, the first documentary evidence of their existence in this country occuring in an Act of Parliament which, upon the petition of domestic card makers, prohibited the import of foreign cards.

2)magic is an art, not a toy where u can discard it anytime u want (thts why some ppl ah said "eh aku quit magic, etc" and I also dont prefer to say play magic or in malay "main magic".slalu org ckp "masa bila ko MAIN magic ani?" aku main magic jua.CORRECTION peeps~ its not "main", its "perform" or "doing" is a better word to use. [to be honest i donht like this theme "where magicians comes to play"]
that quote sounds familiar..lol...it actually annoys me for certain people to show high enthusiasm at the beginning and after several months or less than that, they lose their interest oredi...and the one who goes emotional is me...hahah,main mijik ani misti ada endurance yo....ada determination. baru digalar magician
yep ..
being magician ukan for 2 3 month or apa ne 1 years
its a long life process ..
ada yg sampai pencen tua pun maseh bermagic
cua ambil contoh ..
Jay Sankey 20+ years dah jdi magician ane
Re: Card talk.
Being determined is vital in order to achieve something. I agree with Mindfreak: magic should not be a trend and so is cardistry. Most people, as fas as ive seen, wanted to become a magician just because its cool and wanted to be attractive (esp to females). Once they're done with it, they simply quit. Apanya urg tua2: angat2 taie ayam~ (fiez loves this phrase xp). Apa lagi flourish, yg memerlukan kesabaran dan ketahanan mental dan fizikal. Trust me, in the end ur determinations will be paid off. This is just my opinion, sory if this may be offensive. Hehe.
